The second International Pyrotechnic Automotive Safety Symposium (IPASS) will be organized by the French Pyrotechnical Working Group (GTPS) which gathers all the main Companies, Governmental Institutes and Laboratories dealing with Pyrotechnics in France with support of the French Pyrotechnical Association (AFP). It has also received the support and participation of the Fraunhofer ICT which organize, every 2 years, the worldwide known AIRBAG 2000+.

IPASS is focused mainly on the updates for all concerned companies about legislation, safety and use of 'Explosives, Propellants and Pyrotechnics' for the automotive industry. IPASS is organized every 2 years (odd years) alternately with AIRBAG 2000+ making and giving to Car Manufacturers, First and Second Tier suppliers, Raw Material and Equipment Manufacturers, Institutes concerned by Pyrotechnics used for Automotive Safety, a place every year to exchange and learn about new needs and technologies, the latest regulations and all related fields.
